REISHI BASICS                                   

In 1974, Mr. Ling Tien Tsai, a noted botanist and biologist, founded what is now the largest mushroom cultivation farm in Taiwan. The type of mushroom the farm cultivates is called "Ling Chih" in Chinese, and "Reishi" in Japanese. The rarest and most highly valued of the Reishi mushrooms is the "Antlered Reishi", which the farm specializes in producing.

The Antlered Reishi is red, and gets its name from the deer's antlers, which it resembles. The Antlered Reishi has a history dating back thousands of years, and can be found listed in ancient Chinese Medicinal Books. Though early information is sparse, it is believed that it was highly sought by Chinese emperors because of its reputation for effectiveness. Due to it's rarity in nature, they tried to keep the mushroom's benefits as secret as possible. In fact, punishment was given to royal court doctors who spoke of Antlered Reishi's medicinal value!

In one ancient Chinese Medicinal Book, Red Reishi is rated Number One above all other herbs, including Ginseng. It is excellent for treating a wide variety of ailments, and thus, has been called "The Mushroom of Immortality".

WHAT'S IN REISHI THAT MAKES IT WORK

Our scientifically cultivated Antlered Reishi contains far higher amounts of the ingredients which make it effective in treating ailments and disorders. But, a word of caution: while reading the list of these ingredients, keep in mind that this applies only to our Reishi since the quality of others varies widely. The chief ingredients are:
